Recorded in East Iris Studios with Goldfinger frontman John Feldmann, Sounds Good Feels Good was the band's first full-length studio album to top the charts in Australia and the UK.
- The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in the US and number 2 on the UK Albums Chart. It also reached number 1 in five other countries. The lead single "She's Kinda Hot" was co-written by Feldmann, Ashton Irwin, and Michael Clifford, and was released in June 2015 ahead of the album. Four further singles were released from the album: "Money," "Jet Black Heart," "Broken Home," and "Temporary Fix."
