This 1988 holiday album features O'Neal's signature Minneapolis sound applied to Christmas standards and originals. It was his third album and first holiday collection.
- The album was produced by O'Neal with Flyte Tyme's Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who had guided his previous success. Carnegie Hall hosted a holiday concert featuring O'Neal and the Minnesota Orchestra in support of the album. It reached number 20 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.
- The album was arranged by H.B. Barnum, who had previously worked with O'Neal on "If You Were Here Tonight." Additional arrangements were by Terry Lewis and James "Jimmy Jam" Harris.
- The album reached number 20 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart and number 73 on the Billboard 200. The title track was released as a single and reached number 60 on the R&B charts.
