
2013's Re-Evolution saw Amberian Dawn returning to a more power metal-influenced sound after a brief flirtation with AOR on their previous album. The album features re-recorded versions of earlier songs alongside new material.
- The album was recorded at prime recording studios in Finland. It was produced by the band's founder, Tuomas Seppälä. The album charted at number 32 on the Finnish album charts.
- The album was released on June 14, 2013, by the Finnish label WM Finland. This release marked a shift back towards the band's earlier symphonic power metal sound.
- Guitarist Emil Pohjolainen and bassist Jukka Hoffren joined the band prior to the recording of this album. Original vocalist Heidi Parviainen departed the band shortly before its release.
Amberian Dawn is a Finnish symphonic metal band known for blending modern metal with neoclassical and power metal elements. Re-Evolution was released at a transitional point for the band, following the departure of their original vocalist and the addition of new members.
