2015's "Run" found Awolnation leaning into a harder-edged, arena-ready sound, trading some of the quirky experimentation of its predecessor for more direct, anthemic rock. It features the Top 40 hit "Hollow."

Awolnation is the project of Aaron Bruno, who has been releasing music across alternative, indie rock, and electronic genres since the late 2000s. At the time of "Run," Awolnation was riding the success of their 2011 debut "Megalithic," seeking to build on its eclectic sound.
