"Copper Changes Color" marks CAAMP's sixth studio album, a collection of ten new songs. The album was recorded in Austin, Texas with producer Brian Deck.

- The album was recorded at Public Hi-Fi in Austin, Texas over two weeks in January 2025. Brian Deck, who also produced CAAMP's 2021 album "Live at The Old Man's," helmed the sessions. The band spent the preceding year touring North America in support of "The Long Way Home."
- "Copper Changes Color" was released on June 6, 2025, by Mom+Pop Records. It features guest appearances from Sierra Ferrell and The War and Treaty. The album was preceded by the singles "Barely Alive" and "Spinning."
Hailing from Ohio, CAAMP is a folk-rock group known for their earnest songwriting and harmonies. At the time of "Copper Changes Color," the band was celebrating a decade of performing together.
