Culture Beat is a German electronic music project, fronted by American rapper Jay Supreme and UK vocalist Tania Evans. They are best known for their 1993 international number-one hit single "Mr. Vain". Metamorphosis was released in the latter half of their most commercially successful period, following the breakthrough success of their sophomore album "X-Static".
