This 2019 box set compiles the first four albums Curtis Mayfield released on his own Curtom Records label. It covers his most creatively fertile period, from his soundtrack work to his funk-driven albums.
- The set includes the albums Curtis, the soundtrack to Super Fly, the funk-heavy Back to the World, and the politically charged New World Order.
- All albums were remastered from the original analog tapes by Joe Travers, a well-respected mastering engineer.
- The release was timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Mayfield's solo debut.
