Dictator is an indie rock band from the Pacific Northwest. They are best known for their angular guitar riffs and socially conscious lyrics. At the time of "Moreover Imagination," Dictator had recently completed a tour supporting their previous album, "Urban Sprawl," and were looking to experiment with a more atmospheric sound.
