Originally released as a single in July 1959, "Somethin' Else" showcases Cochran's signature blend of rockabilly and blues, becoming one of his most enduring tracks.

Eddie Cochran was an American rock and roll pioneer from Minnesota whose recording career lasted only four years, from 1955 until his death in 1960. He is best known for "Summertime Blues" and "C'mon Everybody." In 1959, Cochran was a rising international star, particularly in the UK, where his singles and album releases were more frequent than in the US.
