The French electronic artist's second album is a collection of elegantly crafted, atmospheric synth-pop tracks. It serves as the soundtrack to the 2005 French nature documentary of the same name.

Émilie Simon is a French electronic musician and singer-songwriter from Paris, best known for her work in the trip-hop and synth-pop genres. "La Marche de l'Empereur" arrived midway through her career, following her breakout 2003 debut and preceding her more experimental 2006 album "Végétal."
