Erasure are a British synth-pop duo formed in London in 1985. They are best known for their string of UK chart-topping singles and albums, primarily in the synth-pop and new wave genres. In 1988, Erasure were at the peak of their early success, following the breakthrough of their second album 'The Circus' and preceding the release of their chart-conquering third album 'Little Reminders'.
