Inútil paisagem

jazzjazz fusion

The 2016 Forma release "Inútil paisagem" finds Deodato revisiting his signature instrumental jazz-funk style. This album revisits his own compositions, including the title track and "Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing," alongside standards.

Eumir Deodato is a Brazilian[-born][-born] composer, pianist, and arranger, best known for his jazz-funk instrumental versions of popular tunes. His 1973 album "Prelude" spawned the hit "Also Sprach Zarathustra," a jazz-funk interpretation of Richard Strauss's tone poem, which became a staple of 1970s radio.
