Everlast’s 2000 follow-up to his solo debut, “Eat at Whitey’s” continues his genre-bending exploration, leaning further into blues and country influences than the hip-hop that defined his earlier career.

Everlast is a rapper and singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, California, known for his blend of hip-hop, folk, and blues. At the time of "Eat at Whitey's," he was two years removed from the massive success of House of Pain's "Jump Around" and one year removed from his own hit solo album "White Trash Beautiful."
