Leclerc revisits his most beloved songs, re-recording them with a sparser, more intimate feel that brings out the nuances of his storytelling.

Félix Leclerc was a Québécois singer-songwriter and writer, known for his poetic lyrics and simple melodies. He was a foundational figure in Québécois popular music and culture, often called the "father of the chanson québécoise". This 1968 album arrived late in his career, after his most prolific period in the 1950s and early 60s, finding him still a relevant voice in French-Canadian music.
