The Amalgamut is the fourth studio album by Filter, released in 2002. It was the last album to feature guitarist John Erickson and bassist/keyboardist Frank Cavanagh.
- The album was originally scheduled for release in March 2002, but was pushed back to July. It was recorded at various studios, including The Cage, during 2001 and 2002. The album peaked at number 58 on the Billboard 200 chart.
- The Amalgamut sold over 35,000 copies in its first week of release. It was Filter's first album to be released on Craft Recordings. The album was co-produced by Filter and Ben Grosse.
