Firewater's 2001 album "Psychopharmacology" stands as a compelling collection of genre-bending tracks, showcasing the band's continued evolution.

Firewater is the long-running, shape-shifting project of New York City musician Toddy Terry. Terry has channeled a unique blend of punk, industrial, and global influences through the Firewater moniker since the mid-1990s. In 2001, Firewater was at a transitional point, having recently signed to the respected Bloodshot Records imprint for the release of "Psychopharmacology". The album found the band further refining their signature sound, merging punk energy with a more accessible, albeit still dark, indie rock sensibility.
