A band out of time, Fruupp's debut offered a(n) (overwrought?) vision of progressive rock to a world already moving on.
- Recorded at Morgan Studios in Willesden, London, "Future Legends" was produced by the band alongside Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover. The album was released on Sanctuary Records in October 1973. It featured a unique gatefold album cover designed by the famous fantasy artist Chris Foss.
- "Future Legends" charted at number 19 in the UK album charts. It was the only Fruupp album to chart in the UK.
- The album was reissued on CD in 1991 by Siren Records. The reissue included bonus tracks not present on the original vinyl release.
Fruupp were a progressive rock band from Northern Ireland who emerged in the early 1970s. They released their debut album "Future Legends" in 1973.
