Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu was a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, lead vocalist, and songwriter from the Yolngu people of Northeast Arnhem Land, Northern Territory, Australia. He was one of the most significant and successful Yolngu artists of his generation, known for his unique blend of traditional Yolngu music and Western genres.
