- "Ishi" reached number one on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. The single was released by Universal Music LLC. It features a total of 15 members in its senbatsu.
- "Ishi" was the first single released after the graduation of long-time center Rino Sashihara. Miyawaki Sakura and Yabuki Nako were active in the Korean group IZ*ONE at the time of release. Konishi Yui served as the center for "Ishi", while Takahashi Kirari centered "Terraform".
- The single was released in multiple physical editions, including limited and regular versions, each with different bonus content such as event tickets and original artwork. The music video for "Ishi" was filmed in Los Angeles.
