This 1984 album, the band's second release, saw them continue their brand of melodic heavy metal. The album was produced by longtime collaborator and future owner of Ruff Guidance Records, Don Gress.
- The album was recorded at Studio 700 in Highland Park, Illinois. The song "Icon" was released as a single, though it did not chart. Ruff Guidance Records was a small independent label.
- The album was reissued on CD in 2003 by the German label High Roller Records. The original LP release featured a gatefold cover. Lynne Taylor provided uncredited backing vocals on the track "Burning Heart".
- The band's founder and guitarist, John Aquilino, was the only constant member across their discography. The album was released in July 1984. Ruff Guidance Records was owned by Don Gress.
