The 2016 album "Standards" found Into It. Over It. refining the urgent, melodic emo-punk of its predecessors with a more dynamic, layered studio sound. It was recorded at The Listening Room in Chicago with producer Zach Hanson.
- "Standards" was released on March 11, 2016, by independent label Triple Crown Records.
- The album features a guest appearance from Into It. Over It. collaborator and Against Me! guitarist James Bowman on the track "Answering Machine."
- The release was supported by a tour across North America and Europe.
Into It. Over It. is the indie rock project of Chicago-based singer-songwriter Evan Weiss. At the time of "Standards," Weiss was two years removed from his acclaimed debut LP "Proper."
