- The album's lead single, "Runaway," was her first single not to be produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. It was produced by Jam and Lewis, and also by Jackson and Steve "Silk" Hurley.
- The album was reissued in 2003 with a slightly altered tracklist.
