This 2016 Jasmine Records compilation gathers all of Jimmy Rogers' single A- and B-sides from 1950 to 1959, showcasing his solo career during the formative years of Chicago blues.
- The sessions, spread across six years, yielded 24 sides, including the R&B chart hit "Walking By Myself."
- Rogers played guitar on many of Muddy Waters' most famous recordings during this same period.

Jimmy Rogers was a Chicago blues guitarist and singer, best known for his sideman work with Muddy Waters. In 1950, he cut his first solo records for the Chess label, launching a parallel career as a frontman.
