- The album was recorded in mono at Capitol Studios in Hollywood. It was a commercial success, reaching #12 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. The cover art famously features Klein in a Santa hat, playing a Hammond organ.
- The album was reissued on CD in 1998 by the label Collectables Records. It is considered a cult classic among collectors of vintage Christmas music. Glenn Miller's orchestra also recorded a popular Christmas album in the same year.
- This was Klein's fifth album for the Vinyle Numérique label. It followed his successful 1958 release, "Midnight Voodoo".
