"Education, Education, Education & War" marked a return to a more direct, guitar-driven sound for Kaiser Chiefs after a period of experimentation. It was their first album recorded without founding member Nick Hodgson.

Kaiser Chiefs are a rock band from Leeds, England, who emerged in the early 2000s. They are known for their energetic live performances and anthemic indie rock sound. In 2014, Kaiser Chiefs released "Education, Education, Education & War" following the departure of primary songwriter and guitarist Nick Hodgson.
