Kent were a Swedish rock band from Eskilstuna, formed in 1990. They are Sweden's best-selling pop-rock band and have been dubbed "Sweden's biggest band." The 2007 release Tillbaka till samtiden was the band's eighth studio album and third consecutive album to debut at number one on the Swedish album chart. The album was recorded at Epidemin studios in Gothenburg and produced by the band and Swedish producer Martin Hansen. Tillbaka till samtiden was the band's first album to be entirely sung in Swedish since 1999's Hagnesta Hill. The album was certified platinum in Sweden.
