The second album from Land of Talk, "Cloak and Cipher" arrived in 2010. The band's sound continued to evolve on this Saddle Creek release.
- "Cloak and Cipher" was recorded at Hotel2Tango in Montreal with producer/engineer Radwan Moumneh.
- Guest musicians on the album included members of Stars and The Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
- The album was Land of Talk's first release on the Saddle Creek label.
Land of Talk is the indie rock project of Canadian singer-songwriter Elizabeth Powell. The group formed in 2006 and released their debut album the following year.
