The 1968 Columbia album "Signed, Sealed and Delivered" featured Frizzell in a more mature, although less commercially successful, phase of his career. The album contains many of his most-covered songs, including "If She Could Only See Me Now."

Lefty Frizzell was a pioneering country singer-songwriter from Texas whose relaxed, in a sense, drunken vocal phrasing influenced countless artists. By 1968, Frizzell was a decade into his tenure with Columbia Records, having moved past the chart dominance of his early hits.
