The title track from a 1983 solo single, "Only for Love" demonstrated Limahl's continued commitment to synth-pop after his departure from Kajagoogoo. The song was also featured in the film NeverEnding Story.
- The single reached number 52 on the UK Singles Chart. It was released on the EMI label. The B-side to the single was the track "The 19th Nervous Breakdown".
- The song was co-written by Limahl and the track's producer, Stephen Lipson. Lipson would go on to work with artists such as Annie Lennox and Paul McCartney. The song was recorded at Sarm West Studios in London.
- "Only for Love" was featured in the 1984 film The NeverEnding Story, alongside Limahl's most famous song, "NeverEnding Story". The movie's soundtrack was helmed by Giorgio Moroder.
