The first single from a forthcoming album, "Favourite Songs" is a four-and-a-half-minute indie rock track with a driving beat and anthemic chorus. It was released on 25 March 2024 on the Lower Third label.

Maxïmo Park are a five-piece indie rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne, England, formed in 2000. They are known for their energetic live performances and socially conscious lyrics. The release of "Favourite Songs" in March 2024 found the band continuing their prolific output on the independent label Lower Third, a year after their seventh studio album, "Nature Always Wins".
