Dave Mustaine’s long-running outfit Megadeth returned in 2022 with "The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!", an album forged in the crucible of the pandemic and featuring a ferocious comeback for the band.

Megadeth is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1983 by guitarist and vocalist Dave Mustaine. They are one of the "big four" of thrash metal, known for their complex and aggressive musical style. In 2022, Megadeth released "The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead!", their sixteenth studio album, following a six-year gap since their previous studio release.
