Doo-Bop, Davis's final studio album, saw him collaborating with hip-hop producer Easy Mo Bee to fuse his signature trumpet sound with contemporary beats. This posthumously released album stands as a unique, albeit controversial, testament to Davis's continuous engagement with evolving musical landscapes.

Miles Davis was a trumpet virtuoso and bandleader whose work in the 1950s and 1960s defined cool jazz and modal jazz. By the 1990s, he was experimenting with the burgeoning sounds of hip-hop.
