This 1964 release is notable for being one of the first international ska hits, predating the UK's love affair with the genre. It's a prime example of the early ska sound from Jamaica.

Millie Small was a Jamaican singer, a protégé of producer Chris Blackwell, and one of the first artists to gain international stardom through the burgeoning ska scene. She had previously released a few calypso-influenced singles in Jamaica before achieving global success with "My Boy Lollipop".
