This 1988 release finds Jackson revisiting the genre that gave him his start, offering a spirited collection of bebop standards.

Milt Jackson was a seminal American jazz vibraphonist, best known as one of the founding members of the Modern Jazz Quartet. He was a key figure in the development of bebop and hard bop. In 1988, Jackson released "Bebop" on the Documents label, a period where he continued to explore his signature blues-inflected, yet rhythmically advanced, improvisational style.
