- "Space Rock!" was recorded in a single day at Broadfield Studios in Sheffield. The album was mixed by long-time collaborator John Stanier. It was self-released on CD and digital formats.
- The album features a guest appearance by synth player Jane Doe on the track "Cosmic Echoes." Doe has previously worked with Hawkwind and Gong. She plays a vintage Roland Jupiter-8 synthesizer on the track.
