electronicsynth-pop

The 2006 release "Body of Work" compiles Nitzer Ebb's early singles and EPs from 1982-1987, offering a raw look at the foundational tracks that defined their aggressive electronic sound. This collection captures the band's formative years, showcasing the relentless energy and stark production that would influence generations of industrial and EBM artists.

Nitzer Ebb is a British electronic music duo formed in 1982, known for their aggressive, sample-heavy synth-pop and industrial influences. The duo consisted of Douglas McCarthy and Bon Harris, who were central figures in the electronic body music (EBM) scene. Body of Work was released in 2006, marking a return for the band after a period of relative quiet and individual projects. It came after their 2000 album "Gag Order" and before their 2010 collaboration with Paul van Dyk.
