The Buffering Cocoon is the fourth album by the New York City-based trio Now, Now, released in 2018 on Jazzland Recordings. It features five tracks of jazz fusion.

Now, Now are a jazz fusion trio from New York City, featuring members of Tortoise and The Dave Douglas Quintet. They formed in 2009 and have released four albums on Jazzland Recordings.
