- The album was recorded at the BBC's Maida Vale Studios. It was produced by Tony Platt, who would go on to engineer for Bob Marley and AC/DC. The album was reissued on CD in 2003 by the progressive rock label, Akarma.
- The album features a cover of the Spencer Davis Group song "Gimme Some Lovin'". It remains the only album released by the band.
- Paladin's only known live performance was at the Beauchamp Arms pub in London in 1971. The band has been cited as an influence by modern heavy metal groups.
