Panic! at the Disco was a Las Vegas-based emo-pop band formed in 2004, known for their theatricality and genre-bending approach. Emerging during the mid-2000s pop-punk and emo boom, they quickly distinguished themselves with a unique aesthetic and musical style. In 2008, Panic! at the Disco was a duo consisting of Brendon Urie and Ryan Ross, having recently parted ways with bassist Brent Wilson and drummer Spencer Smith, who would later rejoin.
