Mazarin is Per Gessle's third solo album, a Swedish-language collection of songs that was re-recorded and released in English as "En vacker dag" in 2007.
- The album was recorded between 2002 and 2003 at Gessle's own Tits & Ass Studio in Halmstad and at EMI Studios in Stockholm.
- Of the twelve tracks on the album, eight were written by Gessle, while the remaining four were covers: "Sakta vi gå genom stan", "Mot okänt land", "Brevet från Lillan", and "När en vacker tanke blir en sång".
- The album reached number 2 on the Swedish album chart.
Per Gessle is a Swedish pop-rock artist, best known as the frontman of Roxette. In 2003, he was two years removed from the successful solo album "The World According to Gessle" and two years away from Roxette's "Charm School".
