From Portland, Oregon, Quasi is the indie rock duo of John Moloney and Janet Weiss. They are best known for their raw, yet melodic, keyboard- and drum-driven sound. This 2006 album was their fourth release on the Touch and Go Records label, following 2003's "The Sword and the Shield."
