Quicksilver

The band's self-titled 1971 album saw a more streamlined, if less distinctive, approach than their earlier work. It was their final album for Capitol Records.

Quicksilver Messenger Service were a San Francisco-based psychedelic rock band formed in the mid-1960s. They were known for their extended improvisations and guitar interplay, emerging from the Fillmore scene. The 1971 release of "Quicksilver" found the band in a transitional period, following the departure of key members and exploring a more concise songwriting approach.
