Rainbow were a British-American hard rock band, fronted by former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore and featuring former Dio-era members and Joe Lynn Turner on vocals. Bent Out of Shape was the eighth studio album by the band, released in 1983, and would be their last before the Deep Purple reunion.
