This 1951 recording of Rodgers and Hart's 1937 musical comedy "Babes in Arms" features a cast of Broadway and opera veterans. The album was released on the short-lived Craft Recordings label.

Richard Rodgers was one of the most successful and influential American composers of the 20th century, best known for his work in musical theater. By 1951, Rodgers had already achieved significant success with his longtime collaborator Lorenz Hart and was beginning his equally fruitful partnership with Oscar Hammerstein II.
