The Trick Is to Keep Breathing is a 1999 album by Rollercoaster 23, released on Sally Forth Records. It is their second full-length release.
- The album was recorded at Metropolis Studios in London. It was produced by Stephen Street. The album charted at number 42 on the UK Albums Chart.
- The lead single "Fade Away" reached number 29 on the UK Singles Chart. Rollercoaster 23 toured extensively in support of the album, playing over 100 dates across Europe and North America.
- The album was reissued in 2005 with bonus tracks, including B-sides and live recordings. Rollercoaster 23 disbanded in 2002, but reunited for a special anniversary tour in 2019.
Rollercoaster 23 is an alternative indie rock band from the UK. They gained a cult following in the late 1990s for their introspective lyrics and guitar-driven sound.
