The Part We Left Out is Sangam's third album, a collection of 10 songs written and recorded in her home studio. It features guest appearances from members of the bands Broadcast and Stereolab.

Sangam is the project of British singer-songwriter Eleanor Butler. She has been releasing music since 2006, blending folk traditions with experimental electronic sounds.
