This album marked Starmen's return to the studio after a 10-year absence. It is their first release of new material since 2009.
- The album was recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios in London. It was produced by the legendary producer Alan Parsons. The album reached number 5 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
- The album features a guest appearance by former Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes on the track "Burning Bridges". The band members at the time of this release were frontman Mark St. James, guitarist Johnny Thunder, bassist Tommy Solid, and drummer Alex Speed. Starmen performed a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall in London to celebrate the album's release.
- The album's lead single "Fire in the Rain" received heavy rotation on classic rock radio stations worldwide. The album was met with critical acclaim, with many praising Starmen's renewed energy and songwriting. It was the band's first album to be released on their own independent label, Star Records.
