T. Rex is the name under which Marc Bolan recorded from 1970 to 1977, evolving from the psychedelic folk of Tyrannosaurus to the glam rock sound he would become most known for. In late 1972, T. Rex were at the peak of their fame, having just released The Slider and scoring multiple UK hits.
