
Tad's fourth and final album, Infrared Riding Hood, found the band exploring a more melodic, albeit still heavy, sound. The album was released after the band was dropped by Giant/Warner Bros.

Tad Doyle was the lead singer and namesake of Tad, a Seattle grunge band that emerged in the early 1990s. The band signed to Sub Pop and later moved to Giant/Warner Bros., releasing three albums before Infrared Riding Hood.
