The 2019 release "Signs" is the band's first studio album to not feature founding members Kofi Burbridge and Butch Trucks, who both died in 2017. The album is also the first to feature original material written by the band members themselves.

Tedeschi Trucks Band is a blues-rock ensemble from Jacksonville, Florida, fronted by the husband-and-wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi. The group formed in 2010 after the dissolution of Derek Trucks's long-running band with his brother, and has since released six studio albums.
